#SmearForSmear: Cervical Cancer Prevention Week - 20th - 26th January 2020
Maxine's Story:
Hello everyone my name is Maxine. I’m 31 years old and this is the second time I'm
battling cervical cancer. This time though it is incurable, I can’t tell you
ladies enough how important it is to attend your smear tests. They could save your
life. As a mother, being told I have incurable cancer and that it’s going to take my
life is the most soul destroying news I have ever had. To be taken away from my
children is something no mother should have to go through.
So please please go for your screening. You don’t want to be me.
I hope telling my story will change your mind and make you book your cervical
CANCER test.
Thankyou for reading my story Max x
